Candidates Join GSPCGP Tour in May (May 2003)

There was a great candidate turn-out at the Stein Club (GSPCGP) tour of lgbt establishments and events on the weekend before the Primary Election. Barred from the bars, GSPCGP expanded the field where candidates could meet their lgbt voters, including MCC, Dignity, and Outrageous Bingo.

Kathryn Hens-Greco (Dem/Rep), endorsed for Allegheny County Common Pleas Court, met the playing crowd entering Outrageous Bingo on Saturday evening, then visited Rev. Bobbie and the MCC congregation following Sunday night services.

Endorsed candidates Brenda Frazier (Dem) for Allegheny County Council, district 13; Mitch Kates (Dem) for Pittsburgh City Council, district 7; and Patrick Dowd (Dem/Rep) for Pittsburgh School Board, district 2 also met the Outrageous Bingo crowd at the end of the games.
